5.3 Performing the QC analysis for the tracks
Perform QC analysis using the tracks.
The instrument analyzes the sample on the tracks after it acquired the order information from the host computer
according to the sample ID that was identified by the LAS. You cannot register an order manually.
See the CS-5100 Instructions for Use for more details on the prerequisite settings for the QC analysis through the
host inquiry.

1 On the IPU, check that the tracks are ready to use.
Check that the communication status is green on the LAS connection status display of the status bar.

Press the start button on the CS-5100’s Main Unit.
Or press the [Start] button on the IPU toolbar.
According to the sample ID that was identified by the LAS, the instrument acquires the order information from
the host computer.
The track control is carried to the sample aspiration position for the analysis.
• If the host computer was not connected, you cannot perform the QC analysis for the tracks.
• The QC analysis order for the tracks cannot be edited on the IPU.
