2. Press the LOAD key. The TGA will auto-
matically load the sample pan onto the
balance.
3. Position the thermocouple at the edge of the
sample pan, rather than in the middle, for
best results (Figure 3.3).
The position of the thermocouple should be the
same as it was during temperature calibration.
