SAFETY
Operate the machine on snow or ice with
extra care
• When traveling on snow or on frozen
surfaces, drive at a low speed and avoid
starting, stopping or changing directions
abruptly.
• In the snowy area, the road shoulder and
objects placed beside the road are buried
in the snow and cannot be seen. There is a
hazard of the machine tipping over or
hitting covered objects, so always carry out
operations carefully.
• If the machine enters deep snow, there is a
hazard that it may tip over or become
buried in the snow.
Be careful not to drive beyond the road
shoulder or to get trapped in a snow drift.
• With frozen ground surfaces, the ground
becomes soft when the temperature rises,
and this may cause the machine to tip
over, resulting in an operator trapped inside
the machine.
• When parking the machine on an unstable
ground, lower the dozer blade.
PRECAUTIONS WHEN OPERATING
Ensure driver’s safety when loading
Do not load a truck unless the truck driver is
in a safe place.
• Never swing or position the bucket over a
person or the cab room.
• Load the truck from the rear.
