STARTING AND STOPPING THE ENGINE
WARMING UP THE ENGINE
IMPORTANT: Avoid racing the engine until
it has warmed up.
Do
not warm up the engine for a long time
(20 minutes or more). When idling is
required, occasionally place a load or run
the engine at medium speed.

Run the engine at medium speed with no
load for 5 minutes.
STOPPING THE ENGINE
IMPORTANT: Do not stop the engine
suddenly when operating with heavy
loads or at the maximum speed. Doing so
may cause the engine to overheat or
seize. Never stop running the engine
suddenly except in emergency.
1. Return the throttle lever.
2. Idle the engine for about 5 minutes to
gradually let it cool.
3.
Turn the ignition key to the OFF position to
stop the engine.
