• You can also use DATE and TIME to include the date and
time on a printout. (See
the DATE command.)
• TIME lets you keep
track of the time and can give you an
idea of how long it takes to run a particular ·program.
•
You can change the time format by adding the COUNTRY
command to
your CONFIG.SYS file. Refer to Appendix B for
more information.
Examples
tim e 1 4 I ENTER I
sets the time to 2:00 p.m.
TIME 2: 32 I ENTER I
sets the time to 2:32 a.m.
tim e 0: 0 : 0 • 5 I ENTER I
sets the time to one-half (50/100) second past midnight.
