Step 1
Disconnect the 12 pin harness from the motor
control board and interface board. Connect the
corresponding 12 pin test harness. Autolevel the
platen.
S If the platen successfully autolevels with the
test harnesses connected, reconnect the
original 12pin harness and autolevel again.
S If the second autolevel is successful, there
was a connection issue that has been
resolved by reconnecting the cable.
S If the second autolevel is not successful,
the 12pin cable needs to be replaced.
Step 2
Disconnect the 9 pin harness from the motor control
board and interface board. Connect the
corresponding 9 pin test harness. Autolevel the
platen.
S If the platen successfully autolevels with the
test harnesses connected, reconnect the
original 9pin harness and autolevel again.
S If the second autolevel is successful, there
was a connection issue that has been
resolved by reconnecting the cable.
S If the second autolevel is not successful,
the 9pin cable needs to be replaced.
Step 3
If the platen does not successfully autolevel with
the test harnesses connected, the motor control
board needs to be replaced.
Note: If the grill has passed all of the previous tests
and is still not operating properly, contact the Taylor
Service Department.
