Enabling LonWorks® Gateway
IMPORTANT! The Gateway must be enabled on
all three control panels. Repeat the following
steps for each control panel.
Step 1
While in the AM/PM Mode, access the Control Menu
by pressing the key to display
“PROGRAMMING.”
Step 2
Press the key to display the passcode entry
screen.
Step 3
Enter the Control Menu passcode by pressing the
keys in this order:
Step 4
Press the key repeatedly until “SYSTEM SET
UP” displays.
Step 5
Press the key to scroll to “GATEWAY
ENABLED Y or N” (YES or NO).
Step 6
Press the key to change to “Y” (YES).
Step 7
Press the key.
Step 8
Press the key.
Step 9
Press the key to exit the programming mode.
Step 10
Repeat Steps 1 - 9 to enable the Gateway on the
second and third control panels.
Step 11
Shut off the grill for 30 seconds before attempting to
send a service pin.
Sending Service Pin From Menu
Step 1
While in the AM/PM Mode, access the Control Menu
by pressing the key to display
“PROGRAMMING.”
Step 2
Press the key to display the passcode entry
screen. (Note: No passcode is required. Proceed to
the next step.)
Step 3
Press key until the SOFTWARE VERSION is
displayed.
Step 4
Press the key until the GATEWAY VERSION
number appears.
Note: If question marks appear instead of the
Gateway version number, wait a few seconds. If the
version number does not appear, shut the machine
off. After approximately 30 seconds, restart the
machine and repeat Steps 1 - 4.
Step 5
Press the key to send the service pin.
Step 6
Press the key.
Step 7
Press the key to exit the programming mode.
