Frame Search
EXPERT
On:
If you want to use Frame Search function, select "On".
You can check the frame number by pressing the DISPLAY
button in the pause mode.
Off (default):
Frame Search function is disabled, and the frame number
doesn't appear on the screen.
Screen Saver
The screen saver is useful to prevent your display from being
burned in a ghost image.
EXPERT
On:
When you leave the unit in pause or stop mode for 5 minutes,
(or no button is pressed during playback of CD and MP3), the
screen saver image appears on the screen. Press any button
to stop the screen saver.
Off (default):
Screen saver is off.
Background
You can select the background color (gray or black) that is
displayed in the stop mode.
The default setting is gray.
Video Adjust
You can select one of the preset settings optimized for display
device (TV, plasma display, professional monitor). You can also
set up your own setting and save it in the player's memory.

If you start adjustment during playback or pause of DVD, you
can see the effect of each setting on the picture.

If a 4:3 standard TV is connected and the video adjust menu is
selected during playback of DVD, the display might be
distorted momentarily. It is not a malfunction.
Selecting one of the preset settings
Select "Start" by pressing the DIRECTION buttons, and press
the ENTER button.

Select "Video Memory Select" by pressing the DIRECTION
buttons, and press the ENTER button.

Select a setting by pressing the DIRECTION buttons.

TV(CRT) : optimized for a standard television.
PDP : optimized for a plasma display.
Professional : optimized for a professional monitor.
Memory 1, 2, 3 : User presets (see page 43 for details)
Press the ENTER button to save the change.

< Depending on the disc and your TV/monitor, the effect of these
settings may not be clear.
