6.1 Installing/Replacing the Receipt/Journal Roll

4. When installing the journal roll for the first time, go
to Step 5.
When replacing the journal roll, remove the paper
core from the journal paper holder.
5. Load the journal roll as indicated with the figure on
the left. Then, pull the end of the journal roll until
about 8 inches (about 20 cm) of paper comes out
of the journal outlet.
6. Slowly close the journal paper retainer until it
clicks.
7. Press the [C] key to cancel the error status. Then
the status shown in the figure is displayed.
