5.2.3 Preparing the Tubing
When cutting the tubing, the end of the tubes must be cut exactly perpendicular to
the tube. Otherwise the connection may be leaky. Use a tube cutter (A) if available.

1. Cut the supplied tubing into five pieces that are specified as follows.
3 pieces with the same length for the connection between the waste bottle and
the vacuum unit. A tube length of 65 cm (26 in.) is recommended.
2 pieces with the same length per vacuum block for the connection between
the base plate and the vacuum unit. The tube length depends on the distance
between the vacuum unit and the base plate vacuum block.
2. Ensure that there is a fixing ring (B) in each fixing nut (C).
NOTICE!Otherwise the tubing (D) is not tight.
