6. TROUBLESHOOTING & CONFIGURATION
To correctly perform the troubleshooting operations, the following items are required: a portable PC
(notebook), USB - MINI USB cable and terminal software.
6.1 PROCEDURE FOR REPLACING COMPONENTS
RPM SENSOR REPLACEMENT / BATTERY REPLACEMENT: No action to be undertaken.
ANGLE SENSOR REPLACEMENT / REPLACEMENT OF BRAKING SYSTEM COMPONENTS:It
IS necessary to:
- Calibrate the brake table.
Rememberthat,fromtheSWversionSKILLMILLCONNECT:HighKit:BA01.49-wi-:CA01.16;
SKILLMILL CONSOLE: High Kit: BA01.49, a function has been added at SW level to ensure
a check of the correct calibration. For the details, refer to “6.7 Calibrating the brake table”.
REPLACEMENT OF LOW KIT: IT is necessary to:
- Update the FW of the Low Kit and the console brake table, using the upgrade USB key (with
PC Synch);
- Calibrate the brake table;

SKILLMILL CONSOLE: High Kit: BA01.49, a function has been added at sw level to ensure
a check of the correct calibration. For the details, refer to “6.7 Calibrating the brake table”.
- Write the SN of the equipment from the terminal.
REPLACEMENT OF CONSOLE: It is necessary to:
- Update the console SW using the upgrade USB key, as soon as this has been synchronised
(with PC Synch);
- ConguretheconsolefromtheEquipmentSet-upapp;
- Replace the QR code label with the new one provided with the new console.
