6. CLEANING and MAINTENANCE
6.1 Routine Cleaning
This instrument must be maintained properly in order to insure proper operation.
6.2 Daily Maintenance
I) Test board
Clean the platform everyday according to the following procedure:
1. Turn off the instrument and remove the test board.
2. Clean the platform repeatedly with clean water and a soft rag.
3. Dry area using a dry rag or allow it to naturally dry.
4. Reinstall the test board and turn on the instrument to make sure it is running properly. .
II) Waste Strips Box
The waste container should be cleaned daily using the following procedure:
1. Remove the waste container and dispose of use strips.
2. Clean the box repeatedly in clear water using a soft rag.
3. Dry the container and return it to the instrument
.
CAUTION: It is forbidden to use organic solutions such as alcohol, or acetone, etc to
clean the reagent strip bracket. It shall be cleaned and washed with soft rags, such as
gauze. Otherwise, the reagent strip rack may be damaged.
