9. CONNECTION TO OTHER DEVICES
9.1 Interfacing
The apparatus can also transmit data outward through the RS232 interface at the rear of the
instrument. . Users can connect it with corresponding computer using the appropriate cable.
The following are the directions for connecting to external source:
a) Serial port
• Serial interface output: Standard RS232 level signal
• Data code: ASCII
• Output time: Results transmitted after printing
• Output format: 4800 baud rate, data 7 figures, stop 2,even

b) Parallel port: Standard 25 pin parallel printer interface.
Standard 9 pin computer tandem outlet cable shall be applied for
