8-2 Consideration for System Design
SG2 differs from the traditional Relay in controlling circuit fundamental. SG2 is
periodical-loop controlled circuit (series controlled circuit), while Relay is parallel
controlled circuit. Consequently, whenever the trouble took place, it is only single
relay invalidation in Relay, whereas it will affect the whole system in SG2.
Therefore, it is recommended the external protection device to be installed：
c Emergency-Stop Circuit
d Protection Circuit
e Operation Circuit for High-Voltage Components
