■ 5.3. Leak checking and periodical inspecons
A leak detecon check must be carried out annually or as
specied by local regulaons.
Use the appropriate equipment to empty or rell the cooling
installaon (recovery machine, goggles, gloves, etc.)
■ 5.4. Electrical checks
Systemacally check the ghtening of all screwed electrical
components.
Check regularly:
- Safety and control devices,
- The condion of electrical and refrigeraon connecons
(e.g. for any loosening or oxidaon),
- Operang condions,
- The mounng of the condensing unit on its base,
- The housing xings (no vibraon),
- Crankcase heater operaon.
■ 5.5. Filter drier
Silensys® condensing units are all ed with a brazed lter
drier.
Replacement lter drier selecon:
When changing the lter drier, ensure that it is replaced with
an equivalent in capacity and pressure drop and with the
correct direcon of ow.
6- WARRANTY
For informaon concerning the condensing unit warranty,
please refer to our sales terms and condions.
7- DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
- We hereby declare that Silensys® condensing units comply
with the Low Voltage Direcve 2006/95/CE.
- The applicable standards are:
- CEI 60335-I [EN 60 335-I ]: Safety of electrical domesc
equipment and similar – General descripon
- CEI 335-2-34 [EN 60 335-2-34]: Safety of electrical domesc
equipment and similar – Specic regulaons for motor
compressors.
- CEI 60335-2-40 [EN 60 335-2-40 ]: Electrical and similar
and similar household appliances safety – Specic rules for
electric heat pumps, air-condioners and dehumidiers.
- When incorporang our products into a machine, the
Declaraon of Incorporaon of the manufacturer must be
observed. Our condensing units are not required to comply
with Pressure Equipment Direcve 97/23/CE as they are
classied as a compable sub-assembly.
- Cercates of conformity are available on our website www.
tecumseh.com and on request.
8- DECLARATION OF INCORPORATION
Only qualied sta are authorized to work on the condensing
unit. This product is dened as for installaon in machines
according to European Direcve 2006/42/CE. .
It is not permied to run the condensing unit before the
machine into which it is incorporated has been declared in
conformance with the pertaining legislaon. The condensing
unit itself is therefore not required to comply with Direcve
2006/42/CE.
