6. Select Horiz/Acq > Horizontal/
Acquisition Setup. Adjust the horizontal
position and scale: Double click the
Position and Scale controls and use the
pop-up keypad to make the adjustment.
The horizontal position determines the
number of pretrigger and posttrigger
samples.
If using the Auxiliary Front Panel, do the following steps:
1. Connect the probe or cable to the input
signal source.
CAUTION. To prevent damage to the
instrument, always wear an antistatic
wrist strap when making connections to
the instrument and observe the maximum
input voltage ratings for input connectors.
2. Select the input channel.
3. Select Horiz/Acq then Autoset.
4. Adjust the vertical position, scale, and
offset.
