48 kHz Clock Output
This test verifies that a 48 kHz clock signal is output correctly from the WORD
CLK connector. The following equipment is required for this test.
Oscilloscope
75 Ω BNC cable
Perform the following procedure to verify that a 48 kHz clock signal is output
correctly from the WORD CLK connector.
1. Use the 75
Ω BNC cable to connect the WORD CLK connector on the sync
pulse generator to the oscilloscope CH1 input. See Figure 4-9.

2. Set the oscilloscope settings as indicated below:
Vertical. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .1 V/div

3. Use the oscilloscope to measure that the signal amplitude is as follows:
Low: < 0.8 V
High: > 2.1 V
