OPERATION

MACHINE MAINTENANCE
To keep machine in good working condition, simply
follow daily, weekly and monthly maintenance
procedures.
FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing
machine, stop on level surface and turn off
machine.
FOR SAFETY: When servicing machine,
disconnect battery connections before working on
machine.
ATTENTION: Contact an Authorized Service
Center for machine repairs. Machine repairs
performed by other than an authorized person will
void your warranty.
DAILY MAINTENANCE
(Every 4 Hours of Use or Less)
1. Drain and rinse out recovery tank with clean water
(Figure 57) (See DRAINING AND CLEANING
TANKS).
NOTE: Do not use water hotter than 60
°
C (140
F) or
tank damage may occur. Do not use steam to clean
tank.

2. Remove and clean float shut-off screen located in
recovery tank (Figure 58).

3. If equipped with ES Option, remove ES filter
from recovery tank and clean (Figure 59).

4. If equipped with ES Option, drain and rinse out
solution tank with clean water (Figure 60) (See
DRAINING AND CLEANING TANKS).

tank.

5. Remove pad/brush and clean with soap and water
(Figure 61). Dispose pad/brush if worn or
damaged. The scrub brush should be replaced if
large amounts of bristles are missing, or if bristles
are worn to a length of 10 mm (0.38 in) (See
REMOVING BRUSH/PAD DRIVER).
