OPERATION

MONTHLY MAINTENANCE
(Every 80 Hours of Use)
1. Flush solution system with a mixture of water and
a recommended neutralizer liquid. Pour 11.3 L (3
gal) of clean water into solution tank, 60°C (140°F)
maximum temperature. Add neutralizer liquid
according to mixing instructions. Over a floor
drain, briefly operate machine, ES option, and
wand option for 30 seconds each. Turn machine
off and leave machine sit overnight. Next day,
disperse remaining mixture then rinse solution
system with clean water.
NOTE: Contact your chemical supplier for a
recommended neutralizer liquid.
WARNING: Flammable materials can cause
an explosion or fire. Do not use flammable
materials in tank(s).
FOR SAFETY: When using machine, follow mixing
instructions on chemical containers.
2. Lubricate caster swivel grease fitting with a water
resistant grease (Figure 67).

3. Lubricate all pivot points and rollers with silicone
spray then coat with a water resistant grease to
maintain smooth operation.
4. Check machine for water leaks and loose nuts and
bolts.
QUARTERLY MAINTENANCE
(Every 250 Hours of Use)
Check vacuum and brush motors for carbon brush
wear, replace brushes when worn to a length of 10
mm (0.38 in) or less.
Contact an Authorized Service Center for motor
maintenance.
ROTATING OR REPLACING SQUEEGEE BLADES
1. Turn machine power off.
FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing
machine, stop on level surface and turn off
machine.
2. Remove squeegee assembly from machine.
3. To remove front squeegee blade, unthread six
thumbscrews and remove retainer band and
squeegee blade from squeegee frame (Figure 68).

4. Replace or rotate blade end for end to allow a new
edge to face forward.
5. Replace retainer band and secure with six
thumbscrews.
6. To remove rear squeegee blade, unlatch retainer
clamp and remove retainer band and squeegee
blade from squeegee frame (Figure 69).

7. Replace or rotate blade end for end to allow a new
edge to face foward.
8. Replace retainer band and secure with clamp.
9. Check squeegee for proper deflection (See
LEVELING SQUEEGEE).
