OPERATION

REPLACING SCRUB HEAD SKIRT
1. Turn machine power off.
FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing
machine, stop on level surface and turn off
machine.
2. Raise scrub head.
3. Loosen skirt band clamp and remove clamp from
band. Remove old skirt and band from scrub head
(Figure 70).

4. Route skirt band through new skirt, place skirt on
scrub head and replace screw clamp. Make sure
clamp is at rear of scrub head.
5. Slightly tighten skirt band screw clamp to allow for
easy hand adjustment (Figure 71).

6. Adjust skirt height (See ADJUSTING SCRUB
HEAD SKIRT HEIGHT).
MACHINE JACKING
Use designated location on machine frame for jacking
up machine. Once jacked up, block machine frame up
with jack stands to secure machine (Figure 72).
Always jack machine on a flat level surface and block
machine tires before jacking up machine.

FOR SAFETY: When servicing machine, block
machine tires before jacking machine up. Jack
machine up at designated locations only. Block
machine up with jack stands. Use hoist or jack of
adequate capacity to lift machine.
TRANSPORTING MACHINE
When transporting machine by use of trailer or truck,
be certain to follow tie–down procedures below:
FOR SAFETY: When using machine, go slow on
inclines and slippery surfaces.
1. Remove squeegee assembly and brush/pad driver
from machine.
2. Load machine using a recommended loading
ramp. Use assistance or winch when ramp loading
machine.
3. Position front of machine up against front of trailer
or truck. Once machine is positioned, lower scrub
head and squeegee.
4. Place a block behind each main wheel to prevent
machine from rolling.
5. Secure rear of machine frame with tie-down
straps. It may be necessary to install tie-down
brackets to the floor of your trailer or truck.
6. Place tie–down straps over top of machine to
prevent it from tipping.
NOTE: Do not use control grips to secure machine for
transporting.
