Overview

The Harmony Series 2 Homelift is a hydraulic lift designed for domestic use, enabling wheelchair users to move between two levels within a home. It is manufactured by Terry Group Ltd. and is designed to meet various safety and operational standards, including BSEN 55014-1:2006, BSEN 55011:2007, BSEN 61000 series, and BS5900:1999.

Function Description:

The homelift operates on a hydraulic system, with a power pack containing the main circuit board (CE966), battery charger, hydraulic pump, reservoir, and solenoid system. The lift car, or "sling," contains the control mechanism, wiring, and battery. An aperture liner and trapdoor system are integral to its operation, filling the opening between floors and forming a fire barrier. The lift is controlled via call stations and a remote on/off fob. Safety features include safe edges, an underpan, and various limit switches to prevent trapping and ensure correct positioning.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Power Supply: 13A, 240V, 1 Phase 50Hz, on a dedicated RCD-protected circuit.
