9 ADJUSTMENTS
9.5 LEVELLING LINKAGE FOR THE FRONT CUTTING HEADS ___________________
NOTICE
• The dimensions in the figure are factory preset and
the levelling linkage should not need adjusting. After
some time the linkage may require some adjusting. If
it is required, only make adjustments on the adjusting
connector (E).
1. With the unit on a level surface (recommend concrete
surface), place cardboard underneath all three of the
cutting heads.
2. An additional person is needed to stand 3 meters in
front of the unit to check on how level the front heads are when lowering. Lower the cutting heads and
ensure the entire width of the front heads are parallel with the level surface as the heads touch the
cardboard.
3. If they do not touch evenly, make an adjustment using the adjusting connector. Repeat procedure as
needed until the two front heads touch evenly on the level surface.
WARNING
This procedure must be performed as
specified and only by properly trained
service personnel.
During this entire procedure the reel
enable switch must be in the off position.
Turning on the reel enable switch will
result in damage to the unit and/or
serious personal injury or death to you
the operator or bystanders
