5.3 TRACTION PEDAL ___________________________________________________
1. To engage forward drive. To Engage forward drive.
Press the front (A) of the pedal for forward travel. To slow or
stop, carefully return the FWD/REV foot pedal to the Neutral
position. Allow the machine to come to a stop before you
engage reverse drive. When the parking brake is applied, DO
NOT press the traction pedal.
2. To engage reverse drive.
Press the rear (B) of the pedal to move in the reverse direction.
To slow or stop, carefully return the FWD/REV foot pedal to the
Neutral position. Allow the machine to come to a stop before
you engage forward drive. When the parking brake is applied, DO NOT press the traction pedal.
To hold the vehicle stopped on a slope it can be necessary to apply the reverse traction.
3. Mow / Transport Speed Selector
This lever controls the forward speed while you mow. To switch
between mow and transport, move the lever C to the left side to
mow and to the right side for transport.
4.Traction Pedal Forward Stop (D)
This pedal stop is set at the factory, to give a maximum legal
transport speed of 25 kph (15mph) for this class of vehicle.
The angle of the foot pedal is adjustable. Put the screws, nuts
and washers (E) into one of the four positions.
5.4 STEERING TILT CONTROL ____________________________________________
Put the operators seat in a position that lets you have free use of all the
controls.
Hold the steering wheel and press the small foot pedal (A) at the base of the
steering column.
Tilt the column to a position in which you have a full range of movement and
control. Release the small foot pedal to lock the steering column in position.
5.5 HORN _____________________________________________________________
For machines without the lighting kit.
The horn button (A) is on the control panel. If the lighting kit is fitted, the horn
is found on the end of the indicator stalk.
