6.13.Accessories Important Safety Instructions
6.13.1. Batteries

Failure to observe these precautions could result in a hazardous situation which, if not avoided,
could result in death or serious injury.
• Do not expose the BATTERY EZ HD to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
• Do not short-circuit the BATTERY EZ HD.
• Do not store the BATTERY EZ HD haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may
short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by other metal objects.
In case of prolonged discharge or if the last use date of the battery is unknown DO NOT connect
the battery to the battery charger.
• Immediately discontinue use of the BATTERY EZ HD if, while using, charging, or storing the
battery, the battery emits an unusual smell, feels hot, changes color, changes shape, or
appears abnormal in any other way. Contact your sales location or Thales technical support
if any of these problems are observed
• Seek medical advice immediately if the content of the BATTERY EZ HD has been swal-
lowed.
• In the event of a BATTERY EZ HD leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with
the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of
water and seek medical advice.
In case of smoke or any kind of smell emanated from the BATTERY EZ HD, immediately isolate
the BATTERY EZ HD in a ventilated area.
