6.13.2. Cables
6.14.FCC Rules (U.S.A.) Pixium EZ HD
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and
2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
FCC CAUTION: Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void
the user's authority to operate this equipment.
Do not attempt to recharge none-rechargeable battery packs.
Do not use any BATTERY EZ HD other than that specifically provided for use with the
charger.
Do not dismantle or open. There are no user serviceable components of safety elements
inside.
Do not use any battery other than that specifically provided for use with the charger.
Do not place the CHARGER EZ HD in locations that are extremely hot or cold, dusty or dirty
or very humid.
Do not apply mechanical shock or drop the CHARGER EZ HD.
Do not bend the power cord forcibly or place a heavy object on it. This will damage the cord
and may cause fire or electrical shock.
Do not operate the CHARGER EZ HD with a damaged cord or if the charger has been
dropped or damaged.
Do not cover the CHARGER EZ HD.
Dispose of properly.
The cable includes a connector with magnets. All persons with pacemakers have to stay away of
the cable.
Respect a minimum distance of 5 cm between the pacemaker and the magnetic connector of the
backup cable.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device,
pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules.These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference in a residential installation.This equipment generates, uses and can
radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction,
may cause harmful interference to radio communications.However, there is no guarantee that
interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off
and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct interference by one or more of the following
measures:
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is
connected.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
