modules,andthenreinstallthememorymoduleoneatatimetoensureaproperconnection.
2.Checkforerrormessagesduringstartup.
Followtheappropriatecorrectiveactionsforpower-onself-test(POST)errormessages.
3.VerifythatthelatestUEFIBIOSforyourmodelhasbeeninstalled.
4.Verifythepropermemoryconfigurationandcompatibilityincludingthemaximummemorysizeandthe
memoryspeed.

Ethernetproblems
•Problem:Mycomputercannotconnecttothenetwork.
Solution:
Ensurethat:
–Thecableisinstalledcorrectly.
ThenetworkcablemustbesecurelyconnectedbothtotheEthernetconnectorofyourcomputerand
totheRJ45connectorofthehub.Themaximumallowabledistancefromthecomputertohubis100
m(328ft).Ifthecableisconnectedandthedistanceiswithintheacceptablelimitsbuttheproblem
persists,tryadifferentcable.
–Youareusingthecorrectdevicedriver.Toinstallthecorrectdriver,dothefollowing:
1.GotoControlPanel,andensurethatyouviewControlPanelbyCategory.
2.ClickHardwareandSound➙DeviceManager.Ifyouarepromptedforanadministrator
passwordorconfirmation,typethepasswordorprovideconfirmation.
3.DoubleclickNetworkadapterstoviewallnetworkadapters.Ifaexclamationmark!isdisplayed
nexttotheadaptername,youmightnotbeusingthecorrectdriverorthedrivermighthave
beendisabled.
4.Right-clickthehighlightedadapter,clickUpdateDriverSoftware,andthenfollowtheinstructions
onthescreentoupdatethedriver.
–Theswitchportandtheadapterhavethesameduplexsetting.
Ifyouconfiguredtheadapterforfullduplex,ensurethattheswitchportalsoisconfiguredforfullduplex.
