2.4 Display
The display consists of a 4 ½ digit display and 16 LED's
The display continuously shows the value selected in the field “DISPLAY“.
If the value to be shown is a set value (i. e. the laser current with the output switched
off) this is indicated with the LED “PRESET“ lighting up.
If the value to be shown is a measurement value (i. e. the laser current with the
output switched on) the LED “PRESET“ will not light up.
Seven LED's show the unit of the selected values (°C, kΩ, A, V, mA and mW)
Eight LED's indicate errors:
TEC OPEN lights up if the TEC element has a too high impedance or is not
connected
WIN lights up, if the actual TEC temperature leaves the window
OTP lights up if the internal temperature of the LD- or the TEC controller is
too high. Wait until the LED extinguishes. Then the ITC5xx can be
operated again.
NO SENSOR lights up if no or a wrong temperature sensor is connected
LIMIT lights up if the laser current limit value is reached
LD OPEN lights up if the wiring to the laser is interrupted while the laser is
switched on or if the compliance voltage is too low (i. e. driving two
lasers in series requiring more than the capable compliance voltage of
the ITC5xx)
INTERLOCK lights up if the interlock loop is open.
