2.12 Temperature window protection
The ITC5xx offers the possibility to control the TEC temperature within a user defined
range.
 (Refer to chapter 1.8.3, “Setting the temperature window“ on page 16)
There are two LED’s related to the temperature protection:
The LED "WIN" in the field SETUP lights if the window protection is activated.
 (Refer to chapter 1.8.4, “DIP switch for “wake up“ preset“ starting on page 17)
The control LED in the display lights if the TEC temperature moves out off the
specified window, regardless if the window protection is active or not.
If the temperature window protection is switched on the laser diode will be switched
off if the temperature leaves the window.
2.13 Selecting the temperature sensor
Three different types of sensors can be selected by toggling with the “⇓“ button :
• AD590 family
• Thermistor (two ranges)
A LED indicates the selected sensor.
