Adjustment
During the whole procedure the laser remains switched off.
Select the operating mode P
LD
and the display I
PD
at the ITC5xx.
Take the nominal optical output power and the corresponding monitor current from
the datasheet of the laser diode.
Set the preset value for the monitor current to this value.
Switch to the display P
LD
so that the power belonging to the set monitor diode is
shown. Use the potentiometer ADJ next to the LED P
LD
to adjust this display to the
corresponding value of the output power.
