5.4.2 Cleaning and Disinfection of measurement probes (for Europe)

Follow the legal requirements and regulation
in the country.

Refer to the instruction manual concerning
test-fluid for detail.
a) Cleaning
䕔
Holding and pulling the cord may damage the
inner core wires.
䕔
Do not clean the connecting section of the
connector.
䖃 When cleaning the main body of the measurement probe and, wipe
it with a suitable fluid eg.䯔Cleanisept® Wipes”
and then wipe with
cotton dampened with water
䖃 Wipe the cord with a well wrung cloth dampened with water and
remove water after cleaning.
b) Disinfection
䕔
Effective chemicals vary depending on the types
of germs and viruses. Select appropriate
chemicals and immersion time based on the
guidelines, articles, literature, etc. provided by
local administrative organizations and/or
societies.
䕔
A high-pressure steam sterilizer is acceptable
only for the immersion attachment.
