In this case, use
manual mode. In this case, conduct alignment
manually.
Align the patient’s eye with the measurement position, checking the front image of the
anterior eye section and OCT image.
(7) Capturing
After alignment of the section to be measured is completed, press the capture button to
start capturing an image. The preview screen appears after images are captured. In auto
shot mode, capturing automatically starts when the focus is aligned with the corneal vertex.
(8) Checking/Saving measurement data
Check the examination data on the preview screen. When the examination data influences
the analysis result, “NG” appears in the reliability (QS) field. Carefully check the
examination data and save it or recapture another image.

Fully examine the measured data for tracing results.
In particular, if the difference between
measurement values for the left and right eyes is
significant or any problem is found on the anterior
chamber during the preliminary examination, check
the tracing and/or reliability on the check screen. If
the measurement result is not conclusive, review
the inspection result by performing measurement
again or performing another inspection.

It may be difficult to trace the border when
capturing an image of an eye with opacity or
malformation such as corneal disease, shallow
anterior chamber, aphakic eye, pseudophakic eye
or
dense cataract eye.
■
The following artifact may appear on the OCT
image, but this does not indicate any failure.
