CAUTION
Unintentionaloperationofthemachinewhile
servicingitcaninjureyou.
Beforeservicingthemachine,disconnectthe
batterypack.
WARNING
TheeFlexlithium-ionbatterypackcontainshigh
voltage,whichcouldburnorelectrocuteyou.
•Neverattempttoopenthebatterypack.
•Donotplaceanythingintheconnectoronthe
batterypackotherthanaTorowireharness
connectormadefortheproduct.
•Donotallowtoolsorvehiclecomponentsto
completethebatterycircuit.
•Useextremecarewhenhandlingabatterypack
withacrackedcase.
•Removeabatterypackwithacrackedcase
immediately.
•UseonlytheTorobatterychargerdesignedfor
thebatterypack.
1.RotatethekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionandthen
removethekey.
2.Wait10to15minutesforthemotorcapacitorsto
discharge.
3.DisconnecttheT-handleconnectorfromthebattery
wireharnessP04connector(Figure21).

UsingtheKickstand
Thekickstand,mountedontherearofthemachine,keeps
themachinefromfallingbackwardontothehandlewhen
youremovethereelfromthefrontofthemachine.The
kickstandalsoraisestherearofthemachineduringtheuse
oftheInfoCenterDisplayDiagnosticsscreen.Thekickstand
has3positions:STORAGE,SERVICE,andJACKSTAND.
•Tousethekickstandwhenremovingthereel,lowerthe
kickstandfromtheSTORAGEpositionintotheSERVICE
position.Thenpushinthelockingpintolockthe
kickstandintheSERVICEposition(Figure22).
