Themotortemperatureexceededthelimit.
CircuitDescription
Temperaturesensorsmonitortheinternaleldeffecttransistors(FETs)andthemotorcomponentstoprotectthemfrom
high-temperaturedamage.Themotorcontrollerreducesthemotorcurrentinresponsetotherisingtemperatureuntilazero
conditionisreached,whichstopsthemotor.
ConditionsforSettingtheFault
Themotorloadisexcessive,causingahigh-temperatureconditionforthemotorand/orthemotorcontroller.Thiscould
harmthemotor.

Step1:Verifythatthefaultrepeats.
1.CleartheInfoCenterfaultlog.RefertoClearingtheInfoCenterFaultLog(page19).
2.Disconnectthebatterypackfor30seconds.RefertoDisconnectingtheBatteryPack(page17).
3.Connectthebatterypack.RefertoConnectingtheBatteryPack(page17)
4.Startandoperatethemachine.RefertotheeFlexOperator’sManual.

Thefaultdidnotrepeat.GotoReturningtheEquipmenttoService(page19)andfollowthe
stepslisted.

Fail
Thefaultrepeated.Gotostep2.
Step2:Checkthechargelevelofthebattery.
ChecktheInfoCenterLCDscreentoensurethatthechargelevelisadequate.Ifthebatteryindicatordoesnotshowatleast1
fullblock,connectthebatterychargertothebatterypackandchargethebatterypacktoatleast40%capacity.
Step3:Checkforphysicalobstructionsofthereelandofthetractiondrum.
WARNING
Thereelbladesareextremelysharpandcaninjureyou.
Whenyouareremovinganobstructionfromthereelblades,wearcut-resistantorheavyleathergloves.
Physicalobstructionscanincludetwine,rope,wire,debris,atreebranch,etc.
