ServiceInterval:Yearly—Burnishthebrakes.
Ifthebrakefailstoholdthemachinewhileparked,you
canadjustthebrakesusingthebulkheadttingnearthe
brakedrum;contactyourAuthorizedServiceDistributor
orrefertotheServiceManualformoreinformation.
Note:Burnishthebrakesannually;refertotheBreak-In
Periodsection.
BeltMaintenance
AdjustingtheAlternatorBelt
ServiceInterval:Aftertherst8hours
Makesurethebeltisproperlytensionedtoensureproper
operationofthemachineandpreventunnecessarywear.
1.Stoptheengine,settheparkingbrake,andremove
theignitionkey.
2.Applymoderatethumbpressuretothebeltbetween
thepulleys(22lb(10kgf)).Thebeltshoulddeect
0.28to0.35inches(7to9mm).Ifnot,completethe
followingproceduretoadjustthebelttension:
