•Slowthemachinedownbeforemaking
sharpturns.
1.Releasetheparkingbrake.
Note:Theenginewillkillifthetractioncontrol
leversaremovedwiththeparkingbrakeengaged.
2.Movetheleverstothecenter,un-lockedposition.
3.Drivethemachineasfollows:
•Togostraightforward,slowlypushthemotion
controlleversforward(Figure16).
•Togostraightrearward,slowlypullthemotion
controlleversrearward(Figure16).
•Toturn,slowthemachinebypullingbackon
bothleversandthenpushforwardonthelever
ontheoppositesidefromwhichyouwantto
turn(Figure16).
•Tostop,pullthemotioncontrolleverstothe
neutralposition.
Note:Thefartheryoumovethetractioncontrol
leversineitherdirection,thefasterthemachinewill
moveinthatdirection.

1.Movethetractioncontrolleverstoneutralandto
thelockedposition.
2.DisengagethePTO,settheparkingbrake,and
movethethrottlelevertotheSlowposition.
3.Lettheengineidlefor60seconds.
4.TurntheignitionkeytotheOffposition(Figure15).
Waitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
5.Removethekeybeforetransportingorstoring
machine.
Important:Makesuretoremovethekeyasthe
fuelpumporaccessoriesmayrunandcause
thebatterytolosecharge.
