4.Movetheswitchtowardthetabonthebrakeshaft
untilthedistancebetweenthetabandswitchbodyis
0.015to0.045inch(0.4to1mm)(Figure45).
5.Securetheswitch.
6.Testtheadjustmentasfollows:
A.Ensurethattheparkingbrakeisengagedandyou
arenotsittingontheseat,thenstarttheengine.
B.Movethecontrolleversoutoftheneutrallocked
position.
Theengineshouldstop.Ifnot,recheckthe
adjustmentyoumadetotheswitch.
7.Installthefrontpanel.

Every200hours
1.Apply10lbofforcetothealternatorbelt,midway
betweenthepulleys.
2.Ifthedeectionisnot3/8in.(10mm),loosenthe
alternatormountingbolts(Figure46).
