CleaningtheCooling
System
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Remove
debrisfromtheenginearea,oil
cooler,andradiator(cleanthem
morefrequentlyindirtyconditions).
Thismachineisequippedwithahydraulicallydriven
fandrivesystemthatautomatically(ormanually)
reversestoreduceoilcooler/radiatorandscreen
debrisbuildup.Whilethisfeaturecanhelpreduce
thetimerequiredtocleanoilcooler/radiator,itdoes
noteliminatetheneedforroutinecleaning.Periodic
cleaningandinspectionoftheradiator/coolerisstill
required.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engagethe
parkingbrake,lowerthemowerdecks,shutoff
theengine,andremovethekey.
2.Unlatchandswingopentherearscreen(Figure
112).
Note:T oremovethescreen,liftitoffthehinge
pins.
3.Cleanthescreenthoroughlyofalldebris.
