5. Route the brake cable back to the inside of the
frame (Fig. 163).

6. Slide the brake cable into the cable anchor slot on
the transmission (Fig. 164).

7. Install the end of the brake cable through the cable
anchor and install the e-ring (Fig. 165).
8. Install the L-Bracket, spring, washer, and nut on the
threaded end of the brake cable (Fig. 166).
