  If your Toro Lawn Mower engine is not starting, starts with difficulty, or stops running, try the following: * Fill the fuel tank. * Open the fuel-shutoff valve. * Add oil to the crankcase. * Ensure the throttle control is midway between the SLOW and FAST positions. * Replace the fuel filter. * Clean or replace the air-cleaner element. * Check the seat-switch indicator; replace the seat if needed. * Check the electrical connections for good contact; clean the connector terminals thoroughly with electrical-contact cleaner, apply dielectric grease, and make the appropriate connections. * Adjust or replace the spark plug. * Check the spark-plug wire connection.
