4.Installthebeltcovers.Torquethebeltcoverboltsto6–8N•m(50–75in-lb).
5.Tightentheboltstosecurethecovertothedeck.
6.Connectthebatterybyinstallingthepositivecablerst,thenthenegative
cabletothebattery.

MowerDeckRemoval
1.ParkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengagethePTO.Stoptheengine,
waitforallmovingpartstostop,andremovekey.Engagetheparkingbrake.
2.Disconnectthebatterybyremovingthenegativecablerst,thenthepositive
cablefromthebattery.
3.Removetheheightadjustmentpinandlowerthedecktotheground.
4.Removethemowerbelt.
5.Removethe2hairpinsandwashersthatsecurethelinkpintotheframe
anddeck,thenremovethelinkpin.
