10. Remove the outer nut from each of the 4 deck chain
assemblies (Fig. 700).
12. Remove the bolt and nut securing the strut to the
mower deck (Fig. 702).

13. Repeat the above step to remove the bolt and nut
securing the opposite strut from the mower deck.
14. Pull both strut pins to free the mower deck from the
pins (Fig. 703).
11. Raise the deck lift lever to the transport position (Fig.
701).
