CAUTION

•Donottamperwiththeinterlockswitches.
•Checktheoperationoftheinterlock
switchesdailyandreplaceanydamaged
switchesbeforeoperatingthemachine.
Important:Donotoperatethemachineifthe
operatorpresencecontrolsaredamagedorworn.
Alwaysreplacedamagedorwornparts,andcheck
thatoperatorpresencecontrolsfunctioncorrectly
beforeoperatingthemachine.
EngineStartInterlock
Youcanstarttheengineonlywhenthe
forward/reversetravelpedalisintheNEUTRAL
position,thecutting-unit-driveswitchisintheOFF
position,andtheparkingbrakeisengaged.
Note:Youcanstarttheengineonlywhenthe
cutting-unit-driveswitchisintheOFFposition.
EngineRunInterlock
Onceyoustarttheengine,youmustsitinthe
operator’sseattoruntheenginewhiletheparking
brakeisdisengaged.
Theengineshutsoffifyouleavetheoperator’sseat
withoutrstengagingtheparkingbrake.
CuttingUnitDriveInterlock
Youmustsitintheoperator’sseattorunthecutting
units.Ifyouraiseofftheseatformorethanasecond,
aswitchactivatesandthedrivetothecuttingunits
disengages.
Toresetthecuttingunits,sitintheseat,movethe
cutting-unit-driveswitchtotheOFFposition,andthen
movetheswitchtotheONposition.
Note:Ifyoubrieyraiseofftheseatduringnormal
work,drivetothecuttingunitsisnotaffected.
AdjustingtheRollBar
WARNING
Toavoidinjuryordeathfromrollover,keep
therollbarintheraisedlockedpositionand
usetheseatbelt.
Ensurethattheseatissecuredwiththeseat
latch.
WARNING
Thereisnorolloverprotectionwhentheroll
barisinthedownposition.
•Donotoperatethemachineonuneven
groundoronahillsidewiththerollbarin
thedownposition.
•Lowertherollbaronlywhenabsolutely
necessary.
•Donotweartheseatbeltwhentherollbar
isinthedownposition.
•Driveslowlyandcarefully.
•Raisetherollbarassoonasclearance
permits.
•Checkcarefullyforoverheadclearances
(i.e.,branches,doorways,electricalwires)
beforedrivingunderanyobjectsanddo
notcontactthem.
Important:Alwaysusetheseatbeltwhenthe
rollbarisintheraisedandlockedposition.Do
notusetheseatbeltwhentherollbarisinthe
loweredposition.
