ConnectingtheAttachment
HydraulicHoses
Ifanattachmentrequireshydraulicpowerfor
operation,connecttheattachmenthydraulichoses
asfollows:
1.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
2.Movetheauxiliary-hydrauliclevertotheFLOAT
positiontorelievepressureatthehydraulic
couplers.
3.Removetheprotectivecoversfromthehydraulic
portsonthemachine.
4.Ensurethatallforeignmatteriscleanedfrom
thehydraulicports.
5.Identifythequick-disconnectttingsfortherear
attachment-extendandretractcircuitsforthe
tractor.
6.Identifytheattachmentextendandretracthoses.
7.Connectthequick-disconnectttingofthe
attachmentextendhosetothequick-disconnect
ttingoftheextendcircuit(Figure31).

RemovingtheAttachment
HydraulicHoses
1.Engagetheparkingbrake,lowerany
attachments(ifequipped),shutofftheengine,
andremovethekey.
2.Movetheauxiliary-hydrauliclevertotheFLOAT
positiontorelievepressureatthehydraulic
couplers.
3.Pullbackonthehydraulicportcollarsand
removethehosesfromthehydraulicports.
Note:Asmallamountofoilmayremain
betweentheportandhoseends.Havearag
availabletowipeupanyresidualoil.
