2.Parkthemachinesothatthedrainsideisslightly
lowerthantheoppositesidetoensuretheoil
drainscompletely.
3.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
4.Placeapanbelowthedrain.Rotatetheoildrain
valvetoallowtheoiltodrain(Figure25).
Note:Ahosemaybeinsertedontothedrain
valvetodirecttheoilow.Thehoseisnot
includedwiththemachine.
5.Whentheoilhasdrainedcompletely,closethe
drainvalve.
Note:Disposeoftheusedoilatarecycling
center.

engine,andcheckforoilleaksaroundtheoil
