1. If you are using a trailer , connect it to the towing
vehicle and connect the safety chains.
2. If applicable, connect the trailer brakes and
lights.
3. Lower the ramp, ensuring that the angle
between the ramp and the ground does not
exceed 15 degrees ( Figure 26 ).
4. Back the machine up the ramp ( Figure 27 ).

5. Shut of f the engine, remove the key , and move
the motion-control levers outward to the P ARK
position.
6. T ie down the machine near the front caster
wheels and the rear frame with straps, chains,
cable, or ropes ( Figure 28 ). Refer to local
regulations for tie-down requirements.
