Overtime,thechassisundertheenginecollectsdirt
anddebristhatmustberemoved.Usingaashlight,
openthehoodandinspecttheareaundertheengine
regularly.Whenthedebrisis2.5to5cm(1to2
inches)deep,cleanthechassis.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandlower
theloaderarms.
2.Raisethefrontofthemachinesothatthe
machineisangledbackward.
3.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
4.Removethebottomplate;refertoRemovingthe
BottomPlate(page44).
5.Removethefrontcoverassembly;referto
RemovingtheFrontCoverAssembly(page45).
6.Spraywaterintothechassistocleanoutthedirt
anddebris.
Note:Thewaterwilldrainatthebackofthe
machine.
Important:Donotspraywaterintothe
engine.
7.Greasethemachine;refertoGreasingthe
Machine(page45).
8.Installthebottomplate.
9.Installthefrontcoverassembly.

StorageSafety
Shutofftheengine,removethekey,waitforall
movingpartstostop,andallowthemachineto
coolbeforestoringit.
Donotstorethemachineorfuelnearames.

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engagethe
parkingbrake,andlowertheloaderarms.
2.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
3.Removedirtandgrimefromtheentiremachine.
Important:Youcanwashthemachinewith
milddetergentandwater.Avoidexcessive
useofwater,especiallynearthecontrol
panel,engine,hydraulicpumps,andmotors.
4.Servicetheaircleaner;refertoServicingtheAir
Cleaner(page46).
5.Greasethemachine;refertoGreasingthe
Machine(page45).
6.Changetheengineoil;refertoChangingthe
EngineOilandFilter(page48).
7.Chargethebattery;refertoServicingtheBattery
(page51).
8.Checkandadjustthetracktension;referto
CheckingandAdjustingtheTrackTension(page

9.Checkandtightenallfasteners.Repairor
replaceanyworn,damaged,ormissingparts.
