2. Use the tachometer to check engine speed;
the normal high speed setting is
3050 150 RPM.
Servicing the Air Filter
1. To remove the air filter, unsnap the wire
holder, on the left side, from the cover.
Then unsnap the cover from the clear
plastic shell. Remove the cover and air
filter element.

2. Clean and re-oil the air filter element
CAUTION: Do not operate the engine without a
filter element, with a dry filter element, or without
the spit cup (or carb access hole plugs) in
position (unfiltered air could enter the
carburetor) or engine life will be shortened.
