15. Turn the fuel shut-off valve to the “on” position (Fig.
370).

17. Reconnect the throttle cable:
a. Position the throttle control lever so that there is
approximately1/2”(12.7mm)betweenthelever
and the full throttle position of the throttle slot
(Fig. 372).

16. Connect the green oil sending wire to the oil
pressure switch (Fig. 371).

b. Reconnect the z-bend of the throttle cable to
the throttle linkage (the top hole of the throttle
plate). Pull the throttle linkage all the way to the
right and hold it in the wide open throttle (WOT)
position. Install and tighten the cable clamp
(Fig. 373).
