5. Remove the positive (red) wire from the starter (Fig.
213).

Removal
1. Remove the battery negative cable from the battery.
2. Disconnect the choke cable by removing the top
clamp (Fig. 210).
Note: Rear Bumper removed for clarity.

4. Disconnect the oil pressure switch harness (Fig.
212).

3. Disconnect the throttle cable by removing the bottom
clamp (Fig. 211).
