Fuel Check Valve
Purpose
The fuel check valve allows fuel to ow in only one
direction and equalizes fuel ow from both tanks.
There are two fuel check valves. They are located one
beneath each fuel tank approx 6” (15.2cm) down line
from the tank (Fig. 087).

Flat side of the check valve faces fuel tank (Fig. 088).
Location
Proper Installation
Follow the same procedures for the Left Side Fuel Tank
Removal and Installation except skip the instructions for
removing the control panel.
Right Side Fuel Tank Removal & Installation
Left Side Fuel Tank Installation
Reverse the order of removal.

7. Remove the fuel tank from the frame (Fig. 086).
